A search for water entitlements can be carried out using this section of the search page.
You may know the water licence no of the entitlement you are looking for, in which case you can search on that field alone.
A more detailed water entitlement search can be conducted using the region, stream name and/or client name fields. Wildcards (? and *)
are available for searching with the name fields. See below for details.
2) Browse a Map:
You can simply browse a map to locate the water entitlement. Simply click on the map button to be taken to a map. The map will show
you allocations when you zoom in to the area you are interested in.
3) Search for a Property to Display on Map:
Alternatively, you may want to locate a particular property. If you know a property ID, you can enter it to find a property. The
'Show on Map' button will zoom you to the property on a map and select it for you.
Wildcards
Single and multiple character wildcard searches are supported.
To perform a single character wildcard search use the "?" symbol. The single
character wildcard search looks for terms that match the single character replaced. For example, to search
for Smith, Smoth and Smath, you can use the search: sm?th.
To perform a multiple character wildcard search use the "*" symbol. The multiple
character wildcard search looks for zero or more characters. For example, to search for small, smith,
or smile you can use the search sm*.
