Water Information System of Tasmania Help
The Water Information System of Tasmania (WIST) provides you with a single point of access for fresh water related information in Tasmania.
The site consists of a number of modules which allow you to search for and retrieve information on surface water flow, water quality, published
reports and other fresh water related documents.
You can choose the module you are interested in by selecting the appropriate link on the home page. You will then be presented with the different
workflows available within that module. Once you have chosen your workflow, you will be directed through a series of wizard like screens to
obtain the data you require.

- Published Documents: This module allows you to find, view and/or dowload a published document in PDF format.
- Continuous Water Flow: This module allows you to search for monitoring stations that contain continuous water flow data.
- Continuous Water Quality: This module allows you to search for monitoring stations that contain continuous water quality data.
- Sampled Water Quality: This module allows you to search for sampled quality data.
- Conservation of Freshwater Ecosystems Values: This module allows you to search for conservation management priority ratings of freshwater ecosystems.
- Water Entitlements and Dam Permits: This module allows you to search for water entitlement and dam permit data.
